ECO-HOUSE

The project involved the demolition of a run-down dwelling within a conservation area to construct a new build, eco-friendly dwelling. The proposal replicated the decorative existing building and provided a new brick and sandstone rear extension; sympathetic to the existing material context and street scene which held great weight with the council during the very involved planning process.

The clients were focused on producing a building of a high quality and low energy consumption. The client was rewarded by an “A” rated EPC, very low running costs and a striking building to be proud of.
